Ron Mendell: Working as one of Hollywoods most talented concept
artists, is one of the film industries few designers who is able to design
with a pen in one hand and cut with a plasma cutter in the other. By
day, Ron designs cars and gadgets to fill just about any need a film
studio might need to have their action hero arrive in style. By
night, Ron translates his own personal designs into full blown custom cars
where limits are preceded only by the laws of nature herself.
Having the ability to design as well as build,
Ron Mendell understands the difference between flashy product design which
sells and a solid design that can actually be built. This is no more
evident than in his own stylistic sketches and renderings that start based
on real world materials, dimensions and constraints. If it can't be
built, he won't draw it. |
